HodgePodge began as a dream Elizabeth Coats held onto for a long time. It wasn’t just the idea of opening a shop, it was the desire to create a calm, personal, and welcoming gift shop in North Austin, in contrast to overcrowded resale stores.

Elizabeth imagined something smaller and more intentional, where shopping feels unhurried and every item has room to be appreciated.
